‘Portal’ will be my first major work for string quartet, and it will be premiered by the trail-blazing Penny Quartet at the Melbourne Recital Centre on November 1st at 7pm.

In addition to my piece the Quartet will be performing Shostakovich’s 11th string quartet (m personal favourite), and a movement from Jamaican composer Eleanor Alberga’s 1st quartet.
